| 2008 RULES AND REGULATIONS:The Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show Management has established a limit of 475 horses on the grounds for safety purposes.When that limit is reached no other horse will be accepted. PRE-ENTRIES: Pre-entries must be received by the show secretary no later than Aug. 22. All pre-entries must be mailed to the show secretary. No telephone or faxed entries will be accepted. Entry forms must be completed in full, accompanied by payment and current negative coggins. Each rider with a pre-entered horse is entitled to three (3) passes, which will be mailed as complete entries are received. All other persons accompanying the rider will be asked to pay admission. POST ENTRIES: Post entering is permitted, however all entries postmarked after August 22, 2008 will incur a $20 post entry fee. Leadline entries will not incur a post entry fee. DAY OF THE SHOW: All entry forms must be accompanied by a check, cash or credit card number and proof of negative coggins in order to receive a number. No exceptions. PARKING: Due to limited space, no cars are permitted to be parked in the stable/van area. This will be strictly enforced! SCRATCH / ADD:All class adds must be made at the Horse Show Secretary's Office prior to the start of the class to be entered. Horses not properly scratched from a class through the Horse Show Office will forfeit their "entry" fee for that class. All scratches must be made at the Horse Show Secretary's Office prior to the start of the class. Horses not properly entered in a class through the Horse Show Office will be charged double the "entry" fee for that class. Neither adds nor scratches will be taken at the in gate. REFUND OF ENTRY FEES: No refunds of entries that choose to scratch due to inclement weather. If a horse is injured or becomes ill prior to being shown in any class, the entry fee will be refunded by mail upon receipt of a veterinarian’s certificate. An office processing fee of $5.00 per legitimately excused animal will be deducted from the refund. All veterinary certificates to be considered must be in the hands of show management prior to start of show. COURSES AND FENCES: Jumps will include brush, coops, in and out, stone wall, log, and gates, and courses will be posted at the in gate at least one hour prior to each class. The Show Management reserves the right to change obstacles or vary courses. CLASSES: The Show Management reserves the right to change any class when, in its judgement, entries are inadequate or to combine or divide any class in the best interest of the show. Management, and/or Property Owners will assume no responsibility for any accident or injury which may occur to any owner, exhibitor, groom, attendant, spectator, animal or equipment at show. SCHOOLING: Scheduled schooling during the day will be $10.00 and will be limited to 10 horses at a time. Schooling tickets will be available at the secretary's office and will be issued with show numbers EXHIBITORS: MANDATORY HORSES: Proof of negative Coggins test performed within one year of the show date will be required for each animal and must be submitted with entry. STABLING: All stalls must be prepaid. The cost for each stall is $130 which includes a $20 refundable clean stall deposit and 2 bags of shavings. Only shavings will be permitted.
