Shown over 10 to 14 jumps at 4’, spreads 4’.
First round and first jump off, if any, to be decided by adding
together faults incurred over course and any penalties for exceeding
time allowed to complete the course. In the event of equality of
faults after the first round, for first place only there will be
a jump off in which time will be the deciding factor. Touches not
to count. Table II, Section 2a. Order of jumping will be according
to Rule XXIII, Part V, Sec. 2(n). In the event two horses ridden
by same rider draw adjacent positions, they will be separated by
minimum of four places and maximum of eight places depending on
the number of horses entered in the class.

Good Sportsmanship in a Junior Rider ***New in 2008***
|
Open to all junior riders. To be judged 100% on sportsmanship both in and
outside of the ring during Sunday's show. Light Blue armbands will need to be
picked up at the Secretary's Office when the rider's number is issued. Please be
sure that the Office has the rider's correct mailing address. The light blue armband is to
be worn by the participant on their left arm during Sunday's show. Arm bands must be visible
at all times. This award is to be determined by the Ludwig's Horse Show Committee.
The winner will be announced during Monday's show. The recipient of this award
need not be present on Monday, in which case the award will be delivered by the Horse
Show Committee after the show.
