Exhibitor Notes

IMPORTANT NOTES ON PARKING!

Parking space in the Van and Trailer area is at a premium. Due to the success of the show, we have just enough room for the vans and trailers to park. ALL passenger cars and trucks MUST be parked in the car area, not in the trailer area.

In order to keep traffic flowing smoothly, NO PASSENGER VEHICLES will be permitted to enter the trailer parking area, even to just drop off people or equipment. PLEASE plan ahead to ensure all your tack, equipment, and people are in the right vehicle before entering the show grounds. No Exceptions will be made!

We will have parking assistants to help guide cars, vans and trailers to the appropriate locations. The parking will be strictly enforced this year. Thank you, your support will help ensure the show runs smoothly for for everyone!

Notes to Trainers, Riders and Parents
We are pleased to announce the following additions for 2008:

  • Working Fox Hunter
  • Hunter Pairs Under Saddle
  • Good Sportsmanship Award in a Junior Rider
Note: For the Sportsmanship Award, Juniors must wear a light blue armband, available at the Secretary's desk, to be considered.

Due to the volume of exhibitors anticipated for this year, we are pleased to announce the following improvements for 2008:

  • Modified schedule to make the days end earlier
  • Limit on the number of horses during scheduled schooling
  • Show results available ON-LINE during the show

In addition to these changes, we need your cooperation in helping the show to run in a smooth and timely fashion.

  • Please leave the ring promptly when your schooling session is over
  • Make sure exhibitors are ready to enter the ring at the beginning of their class
  • Plan accordingly to decrease trainer conflicts
  • Advise the Paddock Masters of any problems as soon as they arise

Most importantly, please sit back and enjoy the day!

Trophy Presentation Area
Due to its success, the Trophy Presentation area will be returning for this year. The Trophy Presentation area will be located by the main ring, and will have a photographer available at all times to take pictures of the winners and their ribbons and trophies. Be sure to stop by to get a momento of your award at one of the oldest running shows in Chester County. The Trophy Presentation Area is located near the Secretary's stand.

Trophy Cases
Champions at Ludwigs are presented with beautiful trophies which are then engraved with their names next to the past winners. In order to keep the history of the show alive and part of the local community, LCHS will be displaying the trophies throughout the year in two separate display cases. Thanks to the generosity of DNB First and Ludwig's Inn and Oyster Bar, friends and family can view your trophy in style! Stop in and see the beautiful displays of trophies, enjoy seeing past winners and speculate on this year's winners! Ludwig's Inn and Oyster Bar has a beautiful Bryce Ritter trophy case located in their lobby. DNB First (Rt 401 and 100 intersection) houses the trophies in the lobby in an antique oak display case.
