Chincoteague Trick Ponies and Equine Artists
On Saturday, there will be several demonstrations by the talented Chincoteague Painting Ponies. These ponies are from Chincoteague Island and have been trained by their owner Kyley S. DiLuigi to perform a variety of tricks and to create their own unique artwork.
Kyley will be demonstrating at 1:00 and 3:00 on Saturday.
Kyley and her ponies have competed in Pony Club mounted games and traveled the country for games and to perform their tricks and painting. Her first pony, Chindoteague Minnow, came from Asseteague Island on the swim in 2003 and came home with Kyley.
A portion of the sales of the pony paintings is DONATED to the Chincoteague Pony Association to help feed and care for the wild ponies of Assateague Island.
