Entertainment

Special entertainment events are still being planned for each day during the Ludwigs Horse show!  The following schedule shows the current entertainment planned for 2009.

Saturday

Saturday will be a fun-filled day throughout the midway including face painting and hay rides.   Hayrides will be free and available from 10:00 to 5:00.  Face painting will be from 11:00 to 4:00. Other entertainment will include: 

• Two demonstrations by the Pickering Hunt Pony Club... the ever popular Pony Club Games and a Dressage Pas de Deux. Click here to find out more about these demonstrations which will be at the end of the day on Saturday.
   
• Painting Ponies demonstration by Kyley DiLuigi and her Chincoteaque ponies.  Click here for more information on this demonstration which will be held at 1:00 and 3:00 Saturday.
   
• Thorncroft Mainstreamers will be demonstrating their skills on their horses at the end of the show on Saturday. Click here for more information.
   
• The Dog Training Club of Chester County (DTCCC) will provide a variety of dog sport and training demonstrations on Saturday, between 10:00  and 3:00. Click here for more information.
   
• A stilt walking clown will be providing balloon animals from 12:00-3:00.
   
• Crossroads Church will have a reptile display and educational presentation on Saturday during the day.

Sunday

On Sunday, there will be a Carriage Exhibition in the Main Ring that will give you an opportunity to see spectacular horses, tack and carriages. These beautiful carriages will then proceed through the show grounds for a Pleasure drive throughout the surrounding countryside.

Sunday will also include: 

• A visit from the Foxhunting hounds of Pickering Hunt Club.
   
• Party Animals Express, wtih two shows, at 10:30 and 3:00. Party Animals Express is a fun educational, and interactive  animal experience for all ages. There will be animals such as Chinchilla, Hedgehog, Coatimundi, Patagonia Cavy, Bennetts Wallaby,  Desented Skunk, Giant African Millipede, Ferrets, Snakes, Blue Tongue  Skinks, and a Baby Alligator.
  
  
• A Stilt Walking Clown with Magic Shows and Balloon Twisted Animals, from 12:00 to 3:00

• Birdie Ball:, hosted by Spring Hollow Golf Course.  Come out and hit with the pros from Spring Hollow Golf Course.  Try your luck hitting a wiffel ball...the longest and most accurate shots win prizes.  From approximately 10:00 to 4:00.

• Face painting will be available again from 11:00 to 4:00.

Monday

On Monday, is the ever popular Ludwig's Corner Car Show where you can see and sometimes even touch old classics and beautifully restored favorites!

The Stilt Walking Clown will be back with Magic Shows and Balloon Twisted Animals, from 12:00 to 3:00.

The Conservation tent will include the following groups:

• Warwick Village Hounds
• Green Valley Association
• French and Pickering Creek Conservation Trust
